Private joint-stock company “Kyiv Electrotechnical Plant Transsignal” has served the needs of the railway industry for more than 145 years.

Kyiv Electrotechnical Plant “Transsignal” is a leading Ukrainian manufacturer of specialised railway products: signalling, electric and dispatching centralisation, and automatic block systems for railways and metro systems.

Main customers in Ukraine include: JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”, metro enterprises, and other large enterprises with on-site rail infrastructure. Products are also exported to neighbouring countries.

The plant manufactures: point machine drives, choke transformers, automatic level crossing barriers; it also repairs wagon retarders for JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”.

Private joint-stock company “Kyiv Electrotechnical Plant Transsignal” is the new name of the open joint-stock company “Kyiv Electrotechnical Plant Transsignal”, established by order of the Ministry of Transport of Ukraine No. 241 of 23 April 2001 through transformation of the state enterprise into an open joint-stock company under Presidential Decree No. 210/93 of 15 June 1993 “On corporatisation of enterprises”.

The company is a legal entity and operates in accordance with the Civil Code and Commercial Code of Ukraine, the laws “On joint-stock companies”, “On securities and the stock market”, “On specific features of forming a public joint-stock company of general-use railway transport”, and other legislation.

The company is the legal successor to all rights and obligations of the state enterprise “Kyiv Electrotechnical Plant Transsignal”.
